Outsourcing of UTP's Corporate Mailing Management to Pos Malaysia Berhad

Ladies & Gentlemen,

We wish to announce the outsourcing of our in-house Corporate Mailing Management (CMM) to Pos Malaysia Berhad; Malaysia’s national mail and courier service company, which will take effect on 16 August 2010 onwards.

With similar service Pos Malaysia has been sharing its expertise and technology with various companies such as Petronas, Exxon Mobil and Shell, it is our hope that this move will reduce the service gap and eventually improves the efficiency of mail/parcel delivery to our staff and students on campus. For your information, UTP is the first organization in Perak to embark on Pos Malaysia’s CMM. As such, it is part of Pos Malaysia’s strategic plans to use this as benchmarking process in expanding its business in the state.
