The Student Representatives Council UTP (SRCUTP) hosted the“Minggu Mesra Kampus Julai 2010” from 3rd -5th August 2010 Pocket D, UTP.
The main objective of this event is to expose UTP students to the numerous clubs in UTP as well as providing an avenue for the clubs in UTP to advertise about their organisation club and to recruit new members. A total of 47 booths were operated by clubs, societies, and sponsors.
Numerous activities were also organised to make the event interesting. They was a blood donation, martial arts session, career talk with Avira and Proactive (a cosmetics company), speaker’s corner and a talk by the security department about the smart life campaigns.
The students enjoyed all the talk sessions as it helps them to gather information which can improve their campus life. A martial arts workshop was organized by the organizer to teach basic defence movements for female students to protect themselves.
Lastly the organizer would like to thank UTP management and the organising committee for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the success of the event.
