Do you have outstanding fines, overdue books, journals, or AV resources from IRC?
In conjunction with the National Day celebration, August 2010 and the spirit of Ramadan, IRC will be holding an Amnesty Days as one of its activity. The library Amnesty Days is special days offered to ALL UTP STAFF whereby all overdue books, journals and other audio-visual materials fines will be totally waived.
However, some conditions do apply to this special event such as :
· Limited to specific date and time ONLY from 8:30am-10:00pm on Wednesday, 11th August to Thursday, 12th August 2010
· Only apply to all outstanding fines & overdue items which are returned on the specific time and date as above (for those who have fines only, please notify IRC in order for the fines to be waived)
· Does not apply to lost/missing items and its processing fees (late due fines for missing items will be waived ONLY if user report or acknowledge the item status on the “Amnesty Days”)
- Staff must personally return the overdue material to the library's circulation counter or you may ask a friend or family members to return the material on your behalf provided you inform us earlier by sending official UTP email to Roslina Nordin Ali or Muhamad M Haris. This is necessary because the library must confirm your identity before eliminating fines from our library system.
- The overdue material must be in good condition when it is returned. Overdue fines will not be waived for torn/fractured /incomplete items.
So, please take advantage of the Library Amnesty Days and return all your long overdue items without having to pay fines!
For more information, please contact the circulation counter, ext 8486 or call Roslina Nordin Ali ext. 8466.
Thank you.
